2024 APPLICATION RESULT

ICAS 2024 welcomed a diverse range of early-stage startups driven by impact and sustainability. This year’s applicant pool showcased innovative business models across both "green" and "digital" themes. The winning entries, such as iCare Partner and Ekko, set a high bar by delivering transformative solutions in healthcare and financial inclusion, respectively. In addition, companies ranked from third to twentieth brought forward a broad spectrum of innovations-from precision soil sensing technology that boosts agricultural yields and reduces fertilizer usage, to ERP solutions that streamline agricultural operations, and sustainable transportation powered by electric motorcycles. Other notable entries include ventures focusing on bio-diagnostics for aquaculture, energy storage solutions with advanced battery systems, and creative initiatives that transform agricultural waste into eco-friendly products. The startups represented a wide range of sectors and growth stages, underscoring the dynamism and untapped potential within Vietnam’s startup ecosystem.

HIGHLIGHT

ICAS 2024’s IR Pitching Day served as a dynamic forum where a wide array of ecosystem stakeholders-ranging from government representatives and domestic and international investors to industry leaders and non-profit organizations-convened to explore the future of impact-driven business.


The event fostered a rich exchange of ideas, enabling participants to discuss challenges and opportunities in creating lasting social and environmental change. The day’s proceedings were centered on the themes of Green and Digital, with interactive sessions that allowed startups to articulate how their solutions could reshape traditional industries. Notably, the top two startups-iCare Partner, with its tech-enabled clinics enhancing healthcare access, and Ekko, with its innovative real-time wage access platform supporting financial wellness-captivated the audience. Their presentations not only demonstrated strong market potential but also ignited conversations on strategic partnerships and scaling innovative solutions globally.


Overall, the Pitching Day underscored the power of collaboration, setting the stage for sustained collective efforts towards a more sustainable and equitable future.
